mitsc: Empowering Youth Through Skill Development
mitsc, developed by Vidu Tech, is an Android application that aims to empower the youth by providing job-specific skills as per the local and global demand of industries. Registered under the society act of 1860, Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center has been working towards the noble cause of youth empowerment since 2006, with a major presence in the state of Maharashtra.
The app focuses on providing value-added skilled human resources and developing entrepreneurial skills among the youth. It is associated with more than 8 multi-faculty universities in Maharashtra, in collaboration with the higher and technical ministries of the government. mitsc is efficient in implementing various schemes and programs related to skill development and youth empowerment, in partnership with the government of India and the government of Maharashtra.
With a decade of experience, mitsc has successfully provided services to more than 33 thousand youth in 25 districts, covering a wide range of sectors including IT, apparel making, and bakery products. The app plays a catalytic role in collaboration with thousands of industries by providing them with human resources and simultaneously creating employment opportunities for the youth.
Furthermore, mitsc has well-defined future plans to provide special services for quality enhancement in higher education and corporate management. Their target for the next 10 years is to train 1 lakh youth, including undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students, while also providing special attention to empowering self-help groups.
